Social Whirlwind v1.1.0
Finally! after hours of non stop coading(which almost made me beat my head against the wall :d), I bring to you Social Whirlwind v1.1.0. This version of Social Whirlwind follows a major code rewrite since the original release with alot of conditional statements added with some of the bug fixes.
Have a look at the video. I am awaiting feedback. Don’t forget to rate and comment on the video.
Changelog:
- Further enhanced detection system. It will now automatically search until Pet Society is found.
- All the messages are now shown in tooltip as status with complete information of the operation being done.
- Added conditions to click as soon as the visit is complete.
- Major code rewrite with more conditional statements.
- Fixed a minor issue with the scroll list.
- 5x faster than the previous version.

It always says: Status: Searching for Pet Society. Whats wrong ?
If it says “Searching for Pet Society” it is actually looking for a window named “Pet Society on Facebook – Browser Name”. So far I’ve tested it on Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome and it detects perfectly!
As far as I know this will only happen if…
1) You didn’t open Pet Society at all.
2) You’re not playing Pet Society on Facebook.
3) You’re using some other browser that does not follow this pattern “Pet Society on Facebook – Browser Name”.
If you could be more specific with your problem. Maybe I can help or fix if its a bug. I’ll add a guide soon anyways. Thanks for reporting anyways.

I am a German User, and its called “Pet Society auf Facebook – Browser Name”
Have to set English Facebook, and it works!

It was running along fine, then my pet’s food level dropped, and the whole things went bazonks.
My pet started going outside instead of hugging, etc.
I think you need to add a warning that if your pet gets hungry, he moves too slow and it will not work.
Make sure your pet is fully fed when you start.
This issue is already known and was added to the todo list recently. Thanks for the feedback anyways.

good program but i think u click too fast on the “yes visit pet” and for the hug button cos i think it comes up at a variable speed… suggest that u do the colour scan thing as well for the 2 buttons but overall a very good program

Yes, I also observed that and that’s the reason I’ve changed the timers in the next version. There are some problems due to which I can’t add a color detection method over there but I think increased timer in the next version should fix the problem for now. Thanks for the suggestion anyways I’ll consider that one of the top priorities for the next release.

Here’s the thing. I can’t make it work on my account, it always says “Searching for Pet Society.” But when i log off and i use my boyfriend’s account, it works perfectly fine. I’ve tried using other computers and it still doesn’t work with my account, but it works with others. I have no idea what’s wrong with mine.
If you’re browser language is English I should work fine. Else change your browser language to English for now. I will add support for more languages soon.

first of all, I love your programme, it made me earn a lot of coins!
but the timing between the moment “would you like to go and visit..” and the hug moment should definitely be longer!
Also due to this problem above, another problem occurs, which is well…. before the mouse have the chance to click on the hug button properly, it already clicked on the arrow button. and later when the mouse finally clicked on the hug button, the mouse hurries to go to the arrow button, as result, I skipped a friend or I missed my five coins that i could have earned…
So maybe, if you reschedule the whole thing, like after they finished hugging, then the mouse should click on the arrow button
Thanks for reporting. I’ve further adjusted timers and added color detection method (where necessary) in the upcoming release. I am sure that will fix these issues. Social Whirlwind v1.2.0 is almost complete and will be released very soon.
